As the founder of LE BENNETT, Courtney Kass is an active art enthusiast and advocate for contemporary artists. Her passion for art extends into her personal practice, leading to the creation of Le 48, Palm Beach à Paris (@le48.paris).

After several years in New York, Kass now divides her time between Palm Beach and Paris. These two places informed the concept of Le 48, Palm Beach à Paris. Each location offers a slower rhythm, allowing beauty to surface in the everyday. In these environments, she finds inspiration in simplicity, capturing both luminescent, sun-drenched afternoons along the Palm Beach ocean and candlelit, champagne-filled evenings in cafés along the Seine. Though geographically distant, both landscapes glow under the same moonlight.

Her artistic practice centers on simplified figure drawing, paired with intimate works on paper and self-portrait photography taken on a Canon camera in Paris. Often focusing on the nude form, her work abstracts the body to explore and reframe the female experience through a neutral lens. Capturing sensual lines and delicate shadows, a cohesive vision develops balancing the coexistence of strength and femininity. The resulting work reveals a minimal and ethereal study of the female form and its connection to nature.
